CHARADES

SYNOPSIS

Contemporary dance and laughter have never been in a very close relationship. As if everything artistic is or should be serious, lacking laugther.

We laugh in many different ways and because of many different reasons. One of them being when we laugh about something we don’t understand or about a bad moment of communication.

Laugther reminds us inmediately about the happiness of being alive.

Clown and contemporary dance meet in the attraction to the impossible.

The clown dreams of jumping into a glass of water from the top of the circus tent. Contemporary dance creator dreams of dancing the red colour or expressing wood with their arms.

Accesibility to contemporary dance is an important issue for us. We believe that laughter can ease the way to watching contemporary dance.
